I am a licensed massage therapist in both Georgia and Tennessee, and a Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage practitioner.
With a background rich with efforts to support individuals of all ages and abilities, I am very comfortable working alongside those with developmental delays or disabilities, neurodiversity, hospice or in-home care as well as a myriad of other unique situations that may make someone find it difficult to get the care or attention they need. Who you are is important to me, and I would love the opportunity to learn from you as I walk with you.
My focus is on providing services in comfortable, client-chosen environments, whether your needs are met by traditional spa settings or elsewhere. Adaptive massage can be a great in-home solution for those with sensory sensitivities, specific medical conditions or physical limitations needing modified positioning for comfort.
The past couple of years for me have been a time of life transition, especially following three significant surgeries in 2024. As I have continued to heal from that, I’ve been focused on identifying massage practices that can be beneficial to that healing process. Whether you need traditional massage techniques to loosen tensed, compensating muscles or if lymphatic massage might help you remove toxins from your own medical process, you have found a person who will listen with an understanding ear as we work toward your wellbeing.
I also enjoy educational opportunities where I can speak to groups of any age and size about the benefits of massage as well as other topics of self-care that can be explored through group learning. You might also consider booking me for body doubling services, a companion technique often used to increase the productivity of individuals with ADHD, neurodivergent or even neurotypical minds.
Did you know? Not only can massage decrease pain and reduce stress, it can improve circulation, lower cortisol levels, and boost immunity. Massage can also help increase range of motion as well as minimizing scar tissue and adhesions. Since I have personally experienced many of these benefits, I find myself learning and using techniques to aid others in the healing process as well as the simple benefits of therapeutic presence and touch.
